Job Summary

The Systems Engineer will be part of a variety of activities and assigned projects. He will work as a member of Itamar's R&D team and will support tasks throughout the product lifecycle including Planning, design, V&V. He will interact directly with multidiscipline professionals.

Essential Functions
Provide individual technical contribution and systems engineering skills in the development of Itamar’s products including concept definition, requirements development and analysis, new technology assessments, proposed solutions evaluation, and V&V.
Work with all discipline and support production line engineering solutions.
Perform various duties related to general R&D activities such as: daily/weekly meetings, creation of technical documentation ect.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience
Master's Degree in Systems Engineering – Optional required and
B.S.c in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering /Mechanical Engineering. required
Experience with medical device regulatory standards required and
Experience with the system engineering development process required and
Experience transitioning systems from product development to production required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Computer knowledge: * Computer skills, familiarity with basic shop tools and/or machine equipment, and an aptitude and understanding of basic electrical, mechanical, optical, or software engineering principles.
Capabilities: * Able to approach technical problems in a logical and scientific manner (Programming in Matlab – Optional)
Personal capabilities: * Technical writing and documentation skills. * Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
