Required Developer Productivity Specialist (GBB)
The Developer Productivity Specialist Global Black Belt (GBB) is a customer-facing role with a strong sales and technical background with a focus on modern software development tools and practices. As a GBB, you are regarded as a subject matter expert in Developer Productivity tools and practices and are a trusted advisor to software engineering and development leads within our enterprise customer segment. Customer engagements will require you to deliver technical thought leadership through ideation and architectural design sessions, technical workshops, pilots and MVPs to advance the decision process and increase the pipeline and adoption of our Developer Tools portfolio across GitHub, such as GitHub Enterprise Cloud, GitHub Copilot, GitHub Advanced Security and Dev Box.
This role sits in our Global Black Belt (GBB) organization, which is a team of highly specialized professionals within our Customer & Partner Solutions organization (MCAPS) who work with customers to enable some of the most complex and innovative solutions, providing differentiated technical leadership and guidance along the way.
This role will require travel to customer sites.
This role is flexible in that you can work up to 75% from home.

Responsibilities
Be the key technical sales leader and influencer in shaping customer decisions to buy, build and transform new markets and lead transformational shifts in our customers.
Engage in conversation with customers and collaborate with us and GitHub account and partner teams to drive and qualify new opportunities, understand key technical objections, and resolve technical blockers.
Lead end-to-end conversations and initiatives about Developer Productivity and modern software development practices such as DevOps, DevSecOps, AI-assisted Software Development, Cloud Development Environments and Platforms Engineering
Influence our and GitHubs go-to-market and product strategies and roadmaps by documenting and sharing insights to sales, marketing, and engineering stakeholders on current and future product requirements, sales blockers and customer feedback.
