Summary of role and team:
The lab technician position is for an entry-level candidate who will be trained to perform crucial lab tasks to support the R&D team, in particular, the lab scale bioprocessing work, such as bioreactor cultivation and filtration.
This is a hands-on position, almost all of which is lab-based.
Your day-to-day:
* Building, autoclaving, and disassembling experimental equipment such as tubing assemblies, media bottles, filters, glass bioreactors, etc.
* Checking and maintaining inventory of lab materials and consumables.
* Meticulous documentation of data.
* Opportunities to learn other skills, such as:
- Cell counts and bioanalyzer data.
- Monitoring and controlling bioprocess parameters.
- Writing protocols and batch records.
- Novel systems introduction.
- Process optimization skills.

* Biotechnology/Chemical engineering (or equivalent), BSc Student, with at least 1 years until graduation.
* Availability for 2-3 days a week including weekends (at least 18 hours per week).
* Willingness to do lab bench work.
* Self-motivated, quick learner.
* Positive team attitude and initiative.
The Ideal candidate:
* Biotechnology/Chemical engineering (or equivalent), BSc Student, with at least 1 years until graduation.
* Availability for 2-3 days a week including weekends (at least 18 hours per week).
* Willingness to do lab bench work.
* Self-motivated, quick learner.
* Positive team attitude and initiative.
