Alomone Labs is looking for a Lab Technician to join our growing in-house research team that develops cutting edge research applications. The selected candidate would be performing research and development of new cutting-edge applications for our vast selection of toxins and membrane proteins research tools. The job requires hands-on wet lab work.

Scope: Full-time
Location: Jerusalem

Requirements:
* MSc/BSc in the field of life sciences/biology/biotechnology.
* Experience in general laboratory work (standard techniques: preparation of buffer solutions, weighing, calculations, etc.)
* Experience in standard biochemical methods such as gel electrophoresis, Western blotting, colorimetric methods for quantitative determination of proteins (Bradford protein assay), etc.
* Experience in the cultivation of eukaryotic cell lines (human and animal cancer cell lines).
* Capable of planning, performing, and documenting scientific experiments.
* Fluent reading and writing in English.
* The ability to work in a team and excellent communication skills
* Experience in stable cell lines generation and cloning is a great advantage.
* Experience and/or desire in working with animals (dissection of laboratory animals (mice and rats) and extraction of primary cell cultures) is a great advantage.
* Experience in ELISA and IP is an advantage.
* Experience in testing the biological activity of substances (proteins, antibodies, organic molecules) is an advantage.
