Responsibilities
Medical Leadership:
Provide clinical leadership and expertise to ensure the highest patient care and safety standards.
Develop and implement medical strategies, policies, and protocols in alignment with organizational goals.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting evidence-based practices and clinical excellence.
Collaborate with the executive team to define and execute the medical vision and mission of the organization.
Team Management and Development:
Oversee and guide the medical team.
Establish clear expectations, set performance goals, and provide regular feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
Identify training and development needs and facilitate educational programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and teamwork.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant medical regulations, standards, and best practices.
Implement strategies to mitigate risks, address issues, and drive quality improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective interdisciplinary communication and coordination of care.
Liaise with internal departments and external partners to ensure compliance and effective medical operations.
Represent the organization in relevant forums and meetings.
Research and Innovation:
Stay abreast of emerging medical trends, technologies, and research in the field.
Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement that are relevant to Medison.
Support and facilitate research activities and clinical trials within the medical community.
A medical degree is preferred (MD) or a DVM\PharmD\PhD degree with proven experience in medical affairs leadership roles.
Minimum of 3 years experience in Medical Affairs.
Experience in managing team members at least 1 year.
A leader with excellent coaching skills.
A proactive, can-do attitude.
Team player able to navigate cross-company working relationships.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including communication across functions and strong presentation skills.
A deep understanding of Medical Affairs strategy and implementation and its strategic contribution to the integrated business mindset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Availability for international travel.
Fluent in spoken and written English and Hebrew.
