The R&D Director of Shopper Intelligence is responsible for the end-to-end development and delivery of our new Shopper Intelligence product. This is a rapidly growing, independent and multidisciplinary team in our R&D.
A day to day as a Director R&D Development means...
Managing a multidisciplinary group of data engineers, data scientists, backend and frontend developers.
Leading the development of advanced and creative solutions for complex technical problems in different areas like big data, machine learning, serving, storage and more.
Work closely with the product and design teams.
Communicate on a weekly basis with the business owner and get feedback from customers and prospects.
Hiring new employees and developing the group structure.
Be crucial part of the product strategy in a startup-like environment.

BSC in computer science, mathematics, or other applicable domains is expected.
An MSC or MBA degree would be advantageous.
Extensive experience in big data/research or web applications as a developer or manager.
5 or more years of people management experience.
5 or more years of experience in product development and delivery.
Experience as a manager of managers is advantageous.
Familiarity with the eCommerce industry - Nice to Have.
Familiarity with the web/internet/online industry - Nice to Have.
