We are developing an AI-powered discovery platform leveraging proteogenomics data to develop novel therapeutics and diagnostics for a variety of complex diseases. We are looking for an experienced software & algorithm engineer to join our computational drug hunting team.
Responsibilities:
Design and build a scalable, complex backend infrastructure for our computational cloud platform
Advocate lean and mean solutions, aesthetic design, and architecture
Implement and improve algorithms in our bioinformatic pipelines
Conduct literature reviews for algorithms, bioinformatics methods and big data solutions, and continuously keep up to date with the state of the art
Help define the technological strategy of the company.

Requirements:
Bsc in computer science
At least 5 years of experience with backend engineering in one of the following languages: Python/C++/Java/C#/Go/Rust
Passion for biology and solving complex problems
A team player, with an ability to work independently
Advantages
Knowledge of statistics, ML and data science experience
Biology or bioinformatics background
Cloud computing experience.
