Project Manager - Red Hat Consulting Services (Israel)

About the job:

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Project Manager to join us in Iדרש. In this role, you will manage services projects in the region from initiation through to delivery and closure. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams and establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria, as well as determine, monitor, and review all project economics including costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risk.

What you will do:

Plan and execute complex projects according to deadlines, budget and quality benchmarks

Manage project governance tasks together with periodic reporting

Monitor team performance against contract and client expectations and according to key performance metrics

Effectively manage and communicate project tasks and commitments with project team members

Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team

Manage customer expectations, through collaboration with stakeholders across the organization and develop effective working relationships

Proactively consult on best practices, creative solutions, based on a deep understanding of the customers’ goals. Lead change management accordingly.

Be actively involved in optimizing and improving work process and methodologies. Manage retrospective and Lessons Learned sessions for continuous improvement

What you will bring:

Highly motivated with solid work experience 4-5 years as a Project Manager, preferably in a tech-related vendor environment.

Management capabilities – leadership, decision making, change management

Ability to successfully operate under pressure

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills and business judgment

Self-management capabilities, positivity and a high motivation

Strong methodological background, independent, quick learner, excellent relationship

Improvisation skills, “out of the box” thinking

Desire to proactively and flexibly take on new challenges, applying past experience

Participate and contribute to international relevant initiatives

Fluent written and spoken English
