We are looking for a Senior Back End Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain backend services and systems.
* Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
* Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
* Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
* Optimize backend processes to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
* Maintain and manage databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
* Implement best practices for security and data protection.

* 7+ years experience as a backend engineer with software architecture experience.
* Degree in software engineering/computer science preferred.
* English at a high level is required.
* Ability to work 3 days a week from the office (Jerusalem ideal, or Bnei Brak).
* Proficient in modern backend programming languages such as Python, Node.js, JavaScript (TypeScript is a plus).
* Strong experience working with databases, specifically column-based databases (Clickhouse a huge plus).
* Experience working with a cloud provider (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure) a plus.
* Experience working with 3rd party APIs.
* Fast learner of new tech, excellent problem solver, and time management skills.
* Independent and knows how to manage workflows.
* Strong disposition towards collaboration and communication.
* Analytical and skilled at deductive reasoning.
* Intellectually curious and willing to voice opinions and support them.
