Responsibilities:

Install, configure, troubleshoot, patch, and upgrade virtual, physical servers and applications.
24x7 Monitoring of the systems and business-critical applications to improve stability and performance
Document the installation process and note configurations, modifications, and upgrades made
Analyze business and user requirements to design and deliver appropriate technical solutions
Work closely with internal teams such as Development, Network, Storage and DBAs

Requirements:
At least 5+ years experience and full proficiency with Linux systems.
Experience working on Linux (CentOS/Debian/Ubuntu)
Experience working with at least one scripting or programming language ( PERL, C, Python, Ruby, Tcl, Bash)
Knowledge of Networking (routing, DNS, DHCP, NAT, firewalls etc)
Knowledge of Kubernetes and Containers
Knowledge of Virtualization ( VMware, KVM, Citrix)
Experience with troubleshooting network problems in configurations and software.
Experience with Linux HA and clustering methods
Problem-solving skills and the ability to apply creative tactical solutions to business needs.
Fluent in English communication, written and verbal.
