We are seeking a visionary and experienced Director of R&D to lead and drive our research and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, extensive software development experience, and hands-on expertise with modern technologies.
This role requires a leader with excellent technical and communication skills to help us expand our engineering team while maintaining high technical standards and performance.

Team Management: Set goals, objectives, and KPIs, and ensure the team's performance, growth, and development align with company goals.
Project Lead: Plan, execute, and deliver R&D projects within deadlines, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work effectively with various teams, including product management, innovation, operations, and senior leadership, to align
R&D activities with business goals.
Talent Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Innovation: Drive innovation in cybersecurity solutions, ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of industry standards.
Performance Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the R&D process.
Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding
across all levels of the organization.
compliance standards: Familiarity with IOS / SOC2 / GDPR and other industry compliance standards.

Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend-end and full-stack technologies.
At least 3 years of experience as an R&D Manager, with proven success in managing and mentoring teams.
Technical Skills:
Proven expertise in designing and building scalable cloud-based systems for SaaS companies, particularly in AWS & GCP environments
Deep understanding of Python and relational databases.
Experience with React
Strong knowledge of test automation strategies and best practices.
Proficiency in agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
Familiarity with the cybersecurity field is a significant advantage.
Leadership:
Ability to lead the technical aspects of complex projects and distributed R&D teams.
Experience managing and mentoring offshore team members.
Communication:
Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in the cybersecurity industry is highly desirable.
Familiarity with backend technologies and cloud platforms.
Experience in fostering innovation and driving change in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
