We are seeking a Documentation and Configuration Specialist to join our NPI - Engineering team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing drawing approvals, updating the ERP system, creating change requests, writing technical instructions, and supporting the transition of products from R&D to high-volume production to meet rapid time-to-market demands. Our multi-disciplinary systems encompass mechanical parts, various electrical boards (both off-the-shelf and custom), cable harnesses, and other elements and accessories.
Develop and maintain engineering and manufacturing documentation and specifications, including implementing engineering changes (ECOs) and managing the product lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with R&D teams and manage suppliers and contract manufacturers to support the development, design, building, and testing of new production assemblies and cabinet systems (prototype, alpha, beta, and production units).
Oversee configuration control, ensure BOM structure readiness, and drive continuous improvements.
Prepare production files, production flow documentation, and instruction procedures.
This position is located in Binyamina.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably from high-tech companies.
Proven experience with multi-disciplinary systems and equipment.
Solid understanding of production manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in English, with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills.
In-depth knowledge of BOM structures and procedure preparation.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project), SolidWorks, and ERP systems (Priority).
Excellent problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
Ability to lead assignments independently, ensuring successful completion and thorough documentation.
Willingness to travel weekly to subcontractor site at Yokneam.
