We are in search of a talented hardware (electronics) leader.
Our hardware development manager plans, directs, and coordinates all activities related to medical devices hardware development.
Our main areas of focus include both digital and analog based technologies, modules and subsystems.
Lead all electronics development aspects: design specifications, architecture definition, electrical design, verification and transfer to production of medical devices.
Lead a diverse HW team (3-5 engineers) providing both personal and professional leadership.
Build, Improve and maintain a development environment which rewards collaboration and efficiency: methodologies, tools, and processes.
Posses a drive for innovation and ingenuity.
Design high quality HW Architectures that balances functional requirements, time to market and cost considerations, in alignment with external standards and the company's internal procedures.
Drive for collaboration between projects, and reuse of design and/or materials.
Responsibility for the development and verification of mixed signal (embedded) electronic Boards.
Lead Firmware development (VHDL) efforts and projects
Provide leadership, mentoring and improvements in documenting and implementing electronic specifications, including: functions, modules, integration and verification testing
Proof of design methodology, including hands-on hardware testing and Firmware verification
Partner with external sub-contractors, as needed, to meet development goals.
Collaborate with multiple functions in the organization such as SW development, System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Design Verification and Operations
Work closely with all internal stakeholders to align on quality, project timelines and priorities.

Requirements:
B.Sc/M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a known university.
MBA an advantage.
Experience and knowledge:
At least 8 years of experience with mixed design: analog + digital (embedded).
Demonstrated technical leadership a must.
Experience in a multi-disciplinary system design (such as medical device or military industry).
Experience with high power modules design - an advantage.
Familiar with the following interfaces: RS232,I2C,SPI,USB,CAN BUS(optional), parallel data bus
Hands on capabilities during boards/system debugging.
Familiar with EMC and Electrical safety standards.
Experience with VHDL coding an advantage.
Experience with FPGAs Altera (Quartus ) and Xilinx (Vivado) an advantage.
Experience with FPGA simulation tools e.g Modelsim an advantage.
Fluent English both oral and writing.
