This job description is for an NPI (New Product Introduction) Design control engineer, a role that bridges the development and production phases of multidisciplinary products, typically within the medical device industry. Here's a summary of the key responsibilities and requirements:

Responsibilities:
Oversee the complete product lifecycle: Ensure smooth transitions from design and development to manufacturing, maintaining quality and timelines.
Continuous design improvements: Lead efforts to refine product designs, keeping thorough records of design changes.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work with Research Development (R D), Quality, Manufacturing, and other teams to optimize product design and manufacturing processes.
Production efficiency and quality: Identify opportunities to improve production workflows, minimize waste, and enhance product quality based on data and feedback.

Requirements:
3-6 years of experience transferring multidisciplinary medical products (software, mechanical, optical, electrical) from development to production.
Experience with engineering change orders (ECO), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), non-conformance reports (NCR), and material review boards (MRB).
Skills:
Proficiency with SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM.
Experience in guiding and training manufacturing teams.
Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Strong attention to detail and collaboration skills.
Fluent in English and proficient with ERP systems (Priority) and MS Office.
This role emphasizes both technical expertise in product development and the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage suppliers, and enhance manufacturing processes. The position requires a balance of hands-on engineering and leadership skills in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
