We are seeking a talented Video Solutions Engineer to join our team. This role combines deep video technology expertise, software and systems engineering skills as well as strong customer orientation and will involve creating, evaluating and integrating innovative solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities:
* Take part in design, implementation and support of advanced video processing and encoding solutions using Beamr technologies and platforms
* Create benchmarks and frameworks for analyzing video processing solutions and workflows
* Collaborate with clients to understand their video workflow needs, and help create tailored solutions to meet those needs
* Troubleshoot complex video issues related to encoding, streaming, and playback across different devices and platforms
* Provide Technical Support and training to clients on video technologies and best practices
* Work closely with the Sales team to demonstrate video capabilities and address technical inquiries during the sales process, including direct customer facing activity
* Follow emerging video technologies and trends

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Video Engineering, or related field
* 3+ years of experience in video engineering or related roles
* Knowledge of video codecs, streaming protocols, and content delivery networks
* Experience with video processing tools and frameworks (FFmpeg, GStreamer, etc.), configuration of video encoders, as well as running standard quality measures such as PSNR, SSIM and VMAF.
* Proficiency in at least one programming language ( Python, C ++, JAVAgreenTxtBg!)
* Experience working on the cloud (preferably AWS) and familiarity with cloud platforms for video processing and delivery
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Excellent spoken and written English
