Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated backend Python Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our data Science team to analyze large-scale satellite imagery and bring advanced models into production. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure that supports our data -driven solutions.

* Collaborate with the data Science team to integrate Machine Learning models and other advanced analytics into production systems.
* Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services to process large datasets (such as satellite imagery).
* Build APIs and data pipelines to ensure seamless communication between services and applications.
* Work extensively with AWS cloud services for scalable data processing and deployment.
* Utilize Docker for containerization and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and updates.
* Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability while following best practices for software development.
* Implement security protocols and data protection measures for sensitive environmental data.
* Collaborate with other teams ( Front-End, DevOps, product management) to deliver robust solutions that meet project goals.

* Strong proficiency in Python programming.
* At lease 3 years of experience with backend development, including designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
* Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience working with large datasets, especially in areas like image processing or geospatial data.
* Familiarity with cloud technologies and containerization tools.
* Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data processing frameworks (e.g., Pandas, Dask, PySpark).
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills. Preferred Qualifications:
* An eye for data analytics and building data products
* Experience with GIS systems and analysis of geographic data or aerial imagery
* Experience with Full-Stack development in Python, such as building Dash applications or similar frameworks.
* Ability to deliver rapid prototypes for experimental features or projects.
