About this opportunity

The NPI product leader will be responsible to represent the Operation and lead new projects and transfer them to production including the following:

OPS Project manager for all New Products Introduction cross functional, follow Align PLCM.
Responsible for building Product/Production file, Product documentation, BOM, jigs/tools/Fixtures design
Manage TK vendors and Critical vendors
Responsible from moving from prototype to mass production
Responsible of full Design transfer process during the PLC stages.

In this role, you will…

Responsible for leading the transfer of a new product from development to production. Leading and implementing NPI processes for a multidisciplinary product.
The job requires knowledge and involvement in all disciplines (Electronics, Mechanics, and Optics) and attendance in production to improve Production processes.
Leading Engineering changes as the prime interface in order to introduce necessary engineering/R&D changes while understanding the implications in Logistic, Testing and Production.
Create Product Portfolios and write Testing requirements.
ECO’s Leading and Process/Mold Validation Protocols leading End to End ( write, Test executions)
Leading FAI process to all new products and responsible for the supplier quality
Involvement during design phase in connection with DFX’s (Assembly process, Manufacturability etc).
Define all the documentations needed in order to manufacture the products correctly (Test procedure, Assembly instruction etc)
Define and design jigs, tools and fixture to allow repetitive and robust manufacturing with mass production orientation.
Supply solutions to production failures.
Construct and maintain complex Bills of Materials (BOM).
Perform Training and accompany Prototype and NPI assembly.

In this role, you’ll need …

B.Sc. degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering.
4-7 years of proven experience in engineering environment.
Minimum of 2 years in a product/project leadership role.
High skills in Hebrew and English, speaking and writing.
Experience working with a PLM and CAD system such as SOLIDWORKS.
Fundamental optics knowledge (polarization, lenses, mirrors, prisms…) - advantage.
Committed, dedicated, proactive, result orientated and willing to take on new challenges.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Systematic thinking, leadership and project management skills.
Ability to solve technical problems while working on multi-disciplinary product.
Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Attention to details.
