We are seeking a skilled system Engineer with a strong background in Edge AI systems, electro-optics and cameras. As AI system Engineer you will have significant impact in our R&D projects and specifically computer vision projects, as we ramp-up with new technologies and will lead work groups in our projects as part of the connected devices line of products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing the wholistic system solution which includes component selection of video cameras, edge devices, defining communication protocols and designing the cloud backend integration for delivering the full solution and product. The candidate should have a deep understanding of AI system engineering, including the hardware and software required to deploy and integrate computer vision systems. The responsibilities will include defining system, Optics, HW, Embedded, ATE, SW & Integration requirements. In addition, will contribute to the design stage of each discipline, defining the protocol, technical problem solving, proof of concept and field testing as well as assisting in tests design and investigations. Position requires multidisciplinary understanding, working closely with cross-functional teams, including product, Algo team, field specialists, project managers and all R&D disciplines. The position is for a full time contractor.
