Chief Technology Officer- CTO
Hybrid 3 days per week in the office Location: Modiin Report to: CEO Our Mission BlueGreen Water Technologies is leading the charge in helping preserve and promote life on Earth by restoring, safeguarding, and optimizing the health, and safety of waterbodies worldwide including their wildlife and aquatic biodiversity, ecosystems, and economies by pioneering and applying proven scientific ingenuity and deep tech solutions. Our technology suite includes an AI-based software platform with near- Real-Time remote monitoring of water bodies to enable intelligent, precision-based treatments using our patented nature-based products. Role Overview: We are seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Technology Officer ( CTO ) to lead our technology strategy and execution. The CTO will design the technical architecture, drive product development, lead research and development efforts, and foster strategic partnerships. This role demands deep expertise in data science, satellite data integration, and software development, particularly in related environmental applications. You will also lead and inspire a team of data scientists and software engineers to deliver cutting-edge solutions that align with our mission. Deep understanding of satellite data integration and its application in AI-driven geographic and ground-level solutions
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities: Technical Architecture & Infrastructure: Design and oversee the organization's technical architecture and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Evaluate and adopt suitable technologies to streamline operations and enhance performance. Research & Development (R&D): Lead R&D efforts with new technologies and foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and exploration within the technology team, emphasizing solid research methodologies. IP Development: Promote and create patent applications in fields related to AI, data Science and digital platforms Strategic Technological Partnerships: Adopt cutting-edge solutions and explore new business opportunities. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with other executives to understand business needs and ensure technology solutions align with overall business strategies. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and software engineers, promoting a collaborative and innovative environment.

Requirements:
5+ years of proven experience as a CTO or in a similar leadership role in AI, data science, or software development.
Deep understanding of satellite data integration and its application in AI-driven geographic and ground-level solutions.
Solid background in AI, computer vision, and data science.
Strong expertise in software engineering, with experience in developing scalable, cloud-based applications.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, driving innovation and delivering high-impact results.
Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
Masters in Computer Science, AI, data Science, Geographic Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience as a CTO or in a similar leadership role in AI, data science, or software development.
Deep understanding of satellite data integration and its application in AI-driven geographic and ground-level solutions.
Solid background in AI, computer vision, and data science.
Strong expertise in software engineering, with experience in developing scalable, cloud-based applications.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, driving innovation and delivering high-impact results.
