Senior IT Specialist

The Senior IT Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and improving the IT infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, and providing support for automation and scripting tasks. A strong individual who can handle high-pressure situations and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Role and Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management - Manage and maintain cloud based environments and network infrastructure. Ensure high availability and performance of all IT systems and services. Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades of hardware and software. Manage company assets - track and manage all company IT assets including hardware, software, licenses, and peripherals.
Automation and Scripting - Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation of routine tasks. Implement and manage automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Collaborate with other departments to identify automation opportunities and develop solutions.
Technical Support - Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issues. Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT problems in a timely manner. Assist with disaster recovery planning and execution.
Project Management - Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Coordinate with vendors, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
Security and Compliance - Implement and manage IT security measures to protect systems from vulnerabilities and threats. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
