We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in our R&D department. You will be responsible for building flexible and scalable systems with a startup mentality to support rapid company growth. We are seeking a candidate who combines great interpersonal skills with a wide range of knowledge in DevOps and infrastructure practices. A person who takes a proactive approach, has a can-do attitude, and is committed and dedicated to their role. The ideal person will be adaptable, handle tasks beyond the usual DevOps scope, and support decisions while offering constructive input. This is a hybrid position and reports to the DevOps Lead.
What you will be responsible for:

* Building flexible & scalable systems, with a start-up mentality, to enable exceptional company growth.
* Design, implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines on multiple clouds (AWS, GCP)
* Supporting security efforts by collaborating on tasks that safeguard our systems and data.
* Design, develop, and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources on AWS and GCP
* Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes
* Automate different processes using scripting languages like Python and Bash
* Own the cloud infrastructure resources in terms of Security, Cost Optimization, Resilience and High availability.
* Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
* Advocate software Developer peers and seek to continually improve processes companywide.
The top candidate will also have:

* Prior experience and practice as DBA.
* Prior experience with Big Data.
