Principal QA

Whats the job: The Principal QA Engineer will be a key leader within the Quality Assurance team, responsible for overseeing the testing strategy, ensuring the highest quality standards, and guiding a team of QA engineers in a dynamic product environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of QA methodologies and processes. What youll do:
* Lead QA Strategy and Planning - Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, processes, and best practices in an Agile environment.
* Collaborate with product managers, developers and other stakeholders to ensure high quality and QA alignment with business goals.
* Oversee Testing Processes - Design, execute, and maintain TEST plans, TEST cases, and TEST scripts. Ensure thorough testing of new features and bug fixes, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
* Mentor and guide QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
* Automation and Tools - Active lead of moving from manual QA to automatic. Drive the adoption of TEST automation frameworks and tools
* Define, track, and report on quality metrics and KPIs.
* Present our company with customers upper management in all Quality related topics
* Proactively identify quality issues and drive initiatives to resolve them. What youll bring:
* 10+ years of experience in software Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
* Proven experience with QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
* Technical understanding (Working with Jsons, APIs & SQL)
* Strong expertise in TEST automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
* Hands-on experience with performance and security testing.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Experience in customer facing roles
* Excellent communication skills in English If you bring this, even better:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Advantage
* Experience in a product-based company
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

* Knowledge and experience in the Insurance domain
