VP R&D

*What will you do?*

 Be part of the leadership team and disseminate its vision, values, and principles

 Oversee the delivery of the company roadmap on time and effort

 Provide design and architecture leadership, and priorities needed infrastructure tasks.

 Be hands on from the start - learn by putting your sweat in what is needed in order to take charge and complete ownership of software and DevOps.

 Be both a highly technical, hands-on coder and effective people manager.

 Be responsible for development life cycle including on time delivery of highly qualified

infrastructure and product releases - Be an advocate of Agile/Scrum process.

 Manage, track and identify risks, bottlenecks, challenges ahead of time, and oversee

technical coordination and integrations.

 Foster a healthy and collaborative culture that embodies the teams’ values.

 Build and manage an efficient and effective Technological unit

 Nurture and grow managers and employees

 Build & recruit you team, passing what you’ve learned to them and delegating

responsibilities

*Requirements:*

 At least 5 years’ experience and leading R&D teams - Must

 At least 3 years experiences in overseeing consumer facing technical infrastructure with high availability – Must

 Experience in Cloud environments (AWS - Must, Azure - Plus)

 Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies - Must

 In depth knowledge on .Net framework + Core - Must

 Experience in working with graph database (Neo4j) - Plus

 Experience in ML / Data Science - Plus

 Experience with streaming video solutions - Plus

 Track record in managing offsite development teams

 Demonstrated ability to attract, hire, mentor and develop top engineering talent

 Experience working in startups - Must

 Ability to work in autonomy while aligning to organizational need

 Team player - Excellent interpersonal relations with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
