The Roomer marketplace enables users to easily resell their hotel reservations. In addition to the marketplace, were also gearing up to launch an innovative platform that enables content creators in the travel industry to better monetize their travel content.
seeking a digital merchandising associate to join our team on a part-time/hourly basis (~20 hrs/week). The digital merchandising associate will work cross-functionally to ensure our hotel listings are engaging, up-to-date, and optimized to maximize bookings. The digital marketing associate will also support in developing creative strategies to increase bookings across web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Online Product Management
* Maintain and update hotel listings, ensuring accurate and compelling presentation of information, including descriptions, images, amenities, and pricing.
* Oversee the categorization and filtering of hotels to enhance the User Experience and ease of navigation.
* Monitor and update availability, promotions, and special offers for hotels, ensuring timely and accurate information is available to customers.
2. Promotional Strategies & Execution
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to promote hotel bookings, such as seasonal campaigns, special deals, and partner offers.
* Analyze booking patterns and customer preferences to identify opportunities for targeted promotions and upselling.
3. data Analysis & Reporting
* Track and analyze key metrics related to hotel bookings, such as conversion rates, booking rates, and revenue per booking.
* Provide regular reports and actionable insights on the performance of hotel listings and promotional activities.
* Use data to make informed recommendations for improving listing content, pricing strategies, and promotional tactics.
4. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
* Collaborate with the customer service team to address any issues or inquiries related to hotel bookings and listings.
* Suggest and implement enhancements to the website's user interface and User Experience to improve customer satisfaction and increase bookings.
* Explore new ways to showcase hotel offerings, such as interactive media, virtual tours, and customer reviews.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, E-commerce, or a related field.
Proven experience in digital merchandising, e-commerce, or a related role, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of online travel agency (OTA) platforms and merchandising best practices.
Proficiency in data analysis and experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and innovatively.
Native English with ability to support marketing efforts for UK and US audiences
