Backend Engineer

Were looking for a Server Foundations Engineer to help us develop tools, libraries and architecture to support the platforms group engineering teams.

Why is this role so important ?

Youll be part of the group responsible for main products. You will impact the work of developers in the group by designing, building and maintaining the core of our solution and leading the research and development of new technologies as well as maintaining code standards and practices.

You will be working on core B2B platform that serves tens of thousands of customers, serving hundreds of terabytes in production. Our backend engineers are responsible for the entire data lifecycle - from our endless datatlakes, through choosing the right serving methods and databases, all the way to our api services.

So, what will you be doing all day?

Develop and integrate systems that handle large amounts of data and serve varieties of clients both mobile and desktop.
Manage data pipelines over Spark/Airflow framework.
Take a major part in designing and implementing complex high scale systems using large variety of technologies.
Design, code and integrate scale systems.
Implement solutions in AWS cloud environment, developing CI/CD pipelines.
Constantly learn new technologies and methods and enrich other team members.
