We are looking for an experienced, sharp-minded, and creative Data Scientist to join our growing R&D department. The position aims at defining and designing the processes by which measures its KPIs, leading a holistic analysis of the performance of our platform, and developing algorithms in order to make the analysis robust and seamless.
A day in the life:
Statistically validate measurement methods, plan and manage suitable experiments, and shape the resulting measurement protocols
Analyze the systems performance across stores retrofitted by us, understand the impact of different factors, and help predict future challenges
Design algorithms aiming at automating the measuring processes
Implement your ideas with production-grade code, working side-by-side with engineers in your team
Work closely with the Product and Operation departments, gaining and using a deep understanding of the bigger picture
Produce clear and profound insights to direct R&D efforts towards improving the products KPIs
A day in the life:

Requirements:
MSc. in Mathematics \ Statistics \ Physics \ Computer Science \ Electrical Engineering
At least 5 years of relevant experience and a track record in Data Science for decision making, working with predictive and
probabilistic models. Experience with Causal Inference is an advantage
A mission-oriented critical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
A team player by nature
Sound theoretical understanding of statistics
Strong hands-on development experience, preferably in Python
Proven ability to build and deliver data solutions in a short time frame
Excellent in conveying and presenting complex ideas in a simple manner
