We are expanding our microbiology team and seeking a Research Assistant to join our team as a microbiologist.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of growth media and solutions.
Working in sterile conditions, including isolation, growth, identification, and bacterial count.
Developing and performing various biochemical tests.
Operating laboratory equipment: Autoclave, spectrophotometer, centrifuge, PCR machine, and more.
Designing and conducting experiments, and documenting results
Assisting in R&D trials.
Writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Reading and reviewing scientific literature.

Masters degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field, or a bachelors degree with at least one year of relevant industry experience.
1-2 years of experience in a microbiology lab (an advantage).
Willingness to work both in the laboratory and in the field.
Experience operating lab equipment and performing lab work.
Experience working in sterile conditions.
Strong technical skills.
High level of English proficiency.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Professionalism, accuracy, high organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to read and understand scientific literature & analyze data and draw conclusions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn, adapt and work under pressure.
Willingness to work overtime.
Ability to commute independently to Mazor.
