Facilities Manager

As a facilities manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, security, and functionality of our organization's facilities. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our facilities are safe, efficient, and aligned with the needs of the business and its employees.
Job Summary:
Develop and implement maintenance procedures, policies, and schedules to ensure optimal functioning of all facilities. Coordinate and oversee repair and maintenance work to meet health and safety standards. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers. Implement sustainable practices and initiatives to minimize environmental impact. Reduce energy consumption. Working according to UCT MVVC. Working according to procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Knowing all production machines and equipment. Corrective maintenance for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Learning new equipments. Analyzing errors and machine failures. Using machines manual for failure analysis. Work and guide outsourcing maintenance technicians. Guide machine operators for autonomic preventive maintenance. Work in dirty and noisy workshop. EHS responsibility Zero accidents and safety issues.
