Global Head of IT

The Global Head of IT is a strategic leadership role within our company, responsible for defining the IT strategy and driving the implementation of all aspects of information technology that support our operations. This position will take a significant role as a change agent that is instrumental in driving digital transformation initiatives, optimizing manufacturing and business processes, and ensuring the seamless integration of technology solutions to enhance productivity, efficiency, and innovation across our company worldwide. We operate in a dynamic and fast paced multi cultural environment.

We are a market leader with operations around the world and our company is located in the center of Israel.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategic IT Leadership:

Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy tailored to the unique needs and challenges of our operations, aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
Lead digital transformation efforts within all units, leveraging technology to streamline processes, improve quality, and drive operational excellence.
Collaborate and partner with senior leadership to identify IT opportunities that enhance competitiveness, scalability, and sustainability.

Operational Excellence:

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of robust IT systems and services, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and automation solutions, to support business and manufacturing processes.
Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT infrastructure and applications essential for ongoing business operations, minimizing downtime and disruptions, Including IT infrastructure, hardware, software, network, cloud, security, help desk, cyber, etc.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize IT systems and workflows, enhancing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Successfully lead a global team of employees and contractors in full partnership with external service providers.
Effectively manage projects within budget constraints, maximizing return on investment

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Partner closely with commercial, portfolio, operations and support function leaders, to understand their IT needs and priorities, fostering strong relationships and alignment
Build a global network and collaborate with IT teams across different regions and functions to standardize processes, share best practices, and facilitate knowledge exchange to drive consistency and efficiency.

Innovation and Technology Adoption:

Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices relevant to our business, evaluating their potential impact and feasibility for adoption.
Champion the implementation of advanced technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and data analytics to optimize processes, improve decision-making, and drive innovation.

Risk Management and Compliance:

Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks, security protocols, and compliance standards, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Monitor and mitigate IT risks related to data security, intellectual property protection, and operational continuity, implementing robust controls and contingency plans as needed.
Create, maintain and enforce global IT policies to support the business.
