Key Responsibilities:
LOB Strategy:
Market Analysis: Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the logistics and life-cycle management requirements of all products, to include customer needs, competitor strategies, and emerging trends.
Strategic Planning: Lead the development of the ILS LOB strategy, including a detailed 5-year strategic plan, to capitalize on market opportunities and achieve business objectives.
Risk Management: Evaluate business opportunities, challenges, and risks specific to the logistics and life cycle management aspects to inform strategic decision-making and ensure sustained growth.
Product Roadmap:
Service Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap of the life cycle of the companys Products & ILS services and capabilities, including software upgrade packages and service packages, ensuring alignment with market demands and business goals.
Portfolio Management: Drive service development initiatives to enhance the ILS portfolio, focusing on innovative solutions and customer-centric support.
Field Services: Support all of DRS RADAs field service events, i.e. demonstrations, programs support , installation, SW upgrades .
Execution:
P&L Management: Assume full P&L responsibility for the ILS LOB, driving financial performance through effective revenue generation and cost management.
Budget Oversight: Manage the ILS LOB budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve strategic business objectives.
Customer Management: Oversee key accounts and service activities, fostering strong relationships and maximizing customer satisfaction.
Support Services: Provide comprehensive post-sale customer support for radar systems, including software upgrades and RMA (Return Material Authorization) management, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer success.
Operational Planning: Develop and execute short and long-term operating plans and budgets to ensure performance baselines are met.
Lifecycle Management: Manage the products lifecycle, ensuring continuous alignment with market needs and company goals.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in logistics, ILS or Service, or a related field within the defense industry.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director or Senior Director level).
Proven track record in strategic planning, service development, and sales within the logistics or supply chain sectors of the defense industry.
Extensive experience in P&L management, budget oversight, and financial performance metrics.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
Ability to develop and implement long-term strategic plans and product roadmaps.
Expertise in P&L management and budget oversight
Experience managing the lifecycle of products to ensure market alignment and company goals
Strong leadership skills with experience in c developing high-performing teams
Excellent matrix management skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams
Strong customer management skills, focusing on relationship building and maximizing satisfaction
