Sr. system HW engineer

As part of the role, you will be part of PHY- system team within the broader HW group. The HW group (Board, RF and FPGA designers) developing indoor and outdoor equipment to CATV service providers. PHY- system team responsible for requirements, integration and testing of RF and PHY parts of the developed equipment.
Technologies involved are: QAM/OFDM/OFDMA modulation, RF lab equipment, 1.8GHhz RF (amplifiers, couplers, attenuators, filters), Docsis3.1 and 4.0, analyzing PHY issues at customers (BER, MER, levels), PHY control protocols (modulation bit loading, power saving techniques), SW requirements (integrations) and devices production-line stations requirements in the scope of PHY RF.
You will take part in RF analysis and characterization as part of our HW development including DVT and certifications, SW/HW and production-line integration activities, troubleshooting of MAC-PHY- RF
