Research Fraud Expert

The Research Fraud Expert will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and understanding various payment fraud patterns and schemes.
This role involves deep investigative research to uncover and document new and evolving fraud methodologies.
The Researcher will utilize multiple intelligence sources, including the dark web, social engineering tactics (such as phone calls to potential victims), and other advanced research techniques.
The insights generated will be instrumental in enhancing our systems fraud detection and prevention capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct comprehensive research on emerging payment fraud patterns and schemes.
Monitor dark web forums, marketplaces, and other relevant sources for intelligence on fraud methodologies.
Employ social engineering tactics to understand fraud tactics from the victim's perspective.
Analyze data to identify trends, commonalities, and anomalies in fraud activities.
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate findings into the fraud detection system.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings for internal stakeholders.
Stay updated on the latest developments in fraud detection technologies and methodologies.
