Come join as a Senior Statutory Reporting Accountant and be a key part of our team as we strive to evolve, standardize, and automate our global accounting processes! This role will have the opportunity to develop strong, working relationships with cross-functional partners and various levels of management. In this role, youll play a crucial role in our accounting team. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and transparent communication with stakeholders. This is a hybrid position based in our Bangalore office. This position requires working during late evening hours from 2 PM to 11 PM (IST), with a 1-hour lunch break included. Are you available to work during these Non-Shift hours?
What you'll be doing
Take the lead in the preparation and submission of accurate and compliant statutory financial statements, including footnote disclosures. Showcase your expertise in accounting standards and meticulous attention to detail
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, legal and external auditorsto ensure seamless reporting processes. Building strong stakeholder relationships
Champion efficiency by streamlining workflows and implementing best practices and automation initiatives. Your contributions will directly impact the organizations financial success
Stay Ahead of the Curve by keeping current with industry shifts and regulatory changes. Your commitment to continuous learning and professional growth will set you apart

Requirements:
Professional Certification: Degree in Accounting and prior financial statement preparation experience
Technical Competence: Must have a deep knowledge of Statutory Reporting, understand statutory accounting principles, regulations, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in Accounting Standards: Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS. Attention to Detail preparing financial statements and reports is crucial
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights. Problem-Solving and an ability to address complex accounting issues, reconcile discrepancies, and propose solutions
Communication Skills: Clear communication and an ability to articulate financial information effectively to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, auditors, and regulatory bodies
Adaptability and Learning: Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry practices. Continuously seeks opportunities to enhance processes and reporting efficiency
You might also have
Progressive experience in accounting and/or audit, preferably with public, multinational companies
Experience with large ERP systems, specifically Workday Financials
Experience drafting financial statements using Workiva
