Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects.
Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
Drive the technical direction, roadmap, and detailed planning alongside the engineering manager.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
5 years of experience as a technical lead.
Experience in building and developing infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.

Preferred qualifications:
Masters degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, high performance, distributed systems.
Experience in designing and implementing large-scale filesystems or distributed storage systems.
