- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize cost savings and achieve favorable
terms and conditions.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain relationships to ensure reliability and consistency in the
supply chain.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to
identify procurement needs and address any issues or concerns.
- Prepare and analyze purchasing reports, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track procurement performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- At least 3 years of experience as a purchasing manager
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field
- Strong understanding of work processes and best practices, including strategic ones,
Supplier management, and contract negotiations.
- Skill in ERP systems
- Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and apply data definitions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
