Management of the Ambassadors office, travel and diary;
Event management & supporting official visits;
Management of the Ambassadors Residence including liaison with service providers;
Engagement with Israeli Foreign Ministry and Embassy partners;
Networking with local Embassy contacts and maintaining up-to-date contact databases;
Providing excellent customer service; responding to public queries received by the Embassy over telephone, email and in-person;
Greeting and welcoming visitors to the Embassy in a professional manner;
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience. Previous experience in a diplomatic mission is desirable;
Flexibility, efficiency and effectiveness showing strong organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks;
Solutions-oriented, and committed to delivering results;
Fully bilingual in English and Hebrew (language test may be included as part of the shortlisting process);
Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint; Excel);
All applicants must have a permanent legal right to reside and work in Israel.
Terms and conditions of employment:
The successful candidate will be hired on a permanent basis, with a 6-month period of probation.
Please note that the Embassy of Ireland is open from Monday to Friday. The candidate will work 42 hours per week, with standard office hours from 9.00am to 5.00pm, based at the Embassy of Ireland. Office hours on Friday are 9.00 1.00pm.
The starting salary for the position is 183,314.20 NIS per annum, paid locally on a monthly basis.
Thirteenth month (included in above figure) is payable in two annual instalments. Please note that travel and welfare are also included in the above figure.
Salaries are paid direct to a bank account; therefore, the successful candidate must have a bank account.
