We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Backend Developer to join our Cloud & Web Management group. In this role, you’ll be part of the Core team behind Smart-1 Cloud, Check Point’s SaaS solution that delivers Security Management as a web-based service. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain primarily backend capabilities in an agile development environment.
Own features end-to-end, from design to production, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automated testing.
Work with a wide range of technologies, leveraging native cloud services (AWS) and classic server-side processes as part of the overall cloud solution.
Maintain a SaaS-first mindset, prioritizing an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications
BSc in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent knowledge.
At least 3 years of experience developing distributed systems.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js.
Proven experience launching and maintaining systems on the cloud using agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
Excellent organizational skills, execution capabilities, and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
Team-oriented with outstanding collaboration and communication abilities.

It would be great if you also have:

Experience with Java and Terraform.
Familiarity with Check Point products.
