About The Position
The Photonics team is dealing with the 'heart' of the LiDAR: Designing the optical architecture of both current and next-generation systems, dealing with varied aspects of optics, from semiconductor lasers, through advanced detectors and sophisticated optics to achieve a leading optical solution.
Responsibilities:
Electro-optics Design, engineering and simulation
Working with the development team from the design phase, through proof of concept prototyping and development of the final product
Optics lab work, including the guidance of optics technicians
Closely work with other teams Algorithm, Signal Processing, System, Mechanics and with Program Managers
Data analysis, presentations to team members and staff
Work with and guide sub-contractors and suppliers of optical elements.
