Job Duties:

Plan and implement programs to train superintendents and employees in work site safety and installation practices.
Plan, implement and promote safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
Organize and facilitate safety meetings and coach personnel on the JSA process, as well as other company training programs and initiatives.
Coordinate and perform jobsite inspections to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards.
Collaborate with onsite personnel to determine corrective and or preventative measures where a hazard has been identified and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented.
Work with Superintendents to develop jobsite safety plans.
Develop and implement solutions to mitigate identified workplace safety hazards.
Participates in accident and injury investigations to determine root cause and preventive measures. Recommend and implement corrective action if required.
Maintain safety training and document all required safety training. Maintain all safety and compliance records/reports as required by the Company and law.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Must be highly organized, detail orientated, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a thorough knowledge of construction processes and management techniques.
Experience coordinating training in a construction and manufacturing environment
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments and departments
Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The ability to write basic reports and follow up on issues.
OSHA 10 (Preferred)
OSHA 30 (Preferred)
Knowledge of federal and state safety regulations.
Willingness to travel; Must have a valid driver’s license and be approved to drive a company owned vehicle.
