We are seeking a Donor Relations Executive at our Jerusalem office to find fundraising leads, communicate with donors and increase awareness of and engagement with the work of StandWithUs in Israel.
You will be cultivating donors, maintaining existing relationships, and supporting the Israel team in all its development efforts.
The successful candidate must be an experienced professional who is a "go-getter" and must combine sophisticated leadership with an entrepreneurial spirit.
The ideal candidate will be collaborative, results-oriented, and have a clear passion for StandWithUss mission and Israel.
Reporting directly to our Executive Director, you will be able to work independently and will need excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills. Candidates must have a sophisticated understanding of donor relations, relationship-building and fundraising.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate excellence, who work hard and have the ability to think-out-of-the-box.
They must have a demonstrable background in communication that shows an ability to succeed in this role.
* This role may involve irregular work hours.
Responsibilities will include:
* Solicit annual gifts from your portfolio of existing donors and develop meaningful ongoing professional relationships with these supporters.
* Identify, connect with, solicit and steward relationships with new donor prospects.
* Collaborate enthusiastically with lay leadership including working with existing donors to leverage connections and engage them in working towards fundraising goals.
* Host donors in Israel and show them our Center and our work.
* Manage and arrange cultivation and outreach programs including donor thank you events.
* Utilize database to manage and track donor relationships.
This can be a part or full-time role.
Salary will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.

* At least 2-4 years of experience in fundraising, or proven sales experience in a client driven business
* Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks at the same time.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, as well as an interest in advancing the organizations fundraising goals
* Strong communication skills including experience in presenting and public speaking
* Knowledge of the Jewish Community and Anglo-Israeli community. Knowledge of Israeli business community is a bonus.
* Strong understanding of donor research, identification, cultivation and solicitation, and stewardship.
* A flexible and creative thinker that is able to find and create new giving opportunities for programs.
* English as a mother tongue (or very high level)
* Good level of Hebrew helpful
* Excellent written skills
* BA or higher
