DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:
Build Engineer.
Work with the operational and engineering teams to understand requirements and specifications for application deployed or planned to be deployed in Public Cloud like Azure and GPC.
Work with the development team to ensure applications meet operational requirements and SLA goals.
Responsible for automation of code deployment, security, and monitoring of applications using Chef, Git, Jenkins, saltstack, terraform, Cloudwatch, azure application insight, Dynatrace etc.
Serves as lead developer for all Infrastructure as code development for a secure and scalable infrastructure deployment in public Cloud. Must be proficient with.
Proficiency supporting Linux/windows systems in public cloud.
Work with SW Support and other Technical Subject Matter Experts and Product engineering to triage issues.
Develop hot fixes service packs to deploy staging and production environments.
Experience with install shield, Jenkins, Continuous integration.
Research and forecast new technology capabilities and their applicability within the greater organization.
Other duties as assigned.
Development:
Maintains release schedules, demand management and process development for configuration, change and release management.
Documents and records business requirements for SaaS solution services.
Manage environment planning, build requirements and work plans, including infrastructure/application roadmaps.
Provides operational trending, analysis and availability metrics.
Facilitates enhancement requests related to infrastructure.
Facilitates maintenance process and scheduling.
Facilitates environment management and upgrade paths.
