We are looking for a Senior Software QA Engineer (STE) to join our team in Israel. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in software test engineering, with a strong background in biology or a related field.

The role
As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will take a leading role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions to our clients in the healthcare and research sectors.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, design, and execution of comprehensive test strategies and test plans for our genomic sequencing interpretation platform.
Conduct functional, regression, and sanity testing to identify software defects.
Document and report defects encountered during development and testing,
Working closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolution.
Contribute to the creation of automated testing engine.
Utilize your domain knowledge in biology to assess the scientific accuracy and validity of genomic interpretation algorithms and results.
Drive the adoption and implementation of best practices in software testing and test automation.

Requirements:
Experience and Education Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Bioinformatics, Bio-Medical Engineering, Computer Science, Biology, or a related field from a leading university.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as and Software QA / STE or a similar role.
Strong background in biology or genetics, with an understanding of genomic sequencing technologies and bioinformatics algorithms.
Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, with hands-on experience in test automation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
