Required Senior Engineer, Platform Team
About the Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Platform team, you will build and extend the core infrastructure for the Vector Database. This position involves building robust, large-scale, real-time, low-latency distributed systems for ML infra, focusing on autoscaling, load-balancing, reliability, scalability, high availability, and consistency. You will develop systems, tooling, and infrastructure that ensure a stable and scalable cloud-based database. Our team is enabling key features of our DB, such as multi-region deployments, customer-managed encryption keys, and elastic scaling.

Requirements:
Passion for building highly scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure
5+ years of experience with developing, monitoring and operating large-scale distributed systems
Expertise working with one of AWS/GCP/Azure cloud platforms
Expertise in container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes
B.Sc. in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience
Bonus Points:
Experience with Rust programming
Experience with IAC automation such as Terraform, Pulumi
Experience building monitoring and alerting for production systems
Experience with workflows/provisioning systems and control planes.
