What you will be doing:

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management and operations, ensuring the company remains fully compliant while supporting the overall financial strategy. This role demands a unique combination of strong people management skills and strategic acumen to oversee multiple finance-related departments effectively. You will work closely with other non-finance departments, leveraging your financial insights to influence key decisions and drive significant process improvements. Your unique perspective will be crucial in maximizing financial insights, thereby setting the company up for long-term success. This leadership position is vital for maintaining the financial health of the organization and achieving our strategic objectives.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Manage and provide leadership to all finance-related departments, including Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Pricing.
Implement and oversee the daily financial operations of the company.
Ensure financial activities align with the company’s strategic objectives.
Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Partner with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Foster a collaborative environment to drive process improvements and financial performance.
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports.
Conduct thorough financial analysis to support business planning and strategy development.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure accurate and realistic financial projections and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
In-depth understanding of business and cross-organizational processes and the ability to characterize needs and derived requirements relevant to the financial department
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Proven experience in 2 - 3 years of a senior financial leadership role.
Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial analysis.
Ability to work collaboratively and influence across various departments.
Working knowledge of NetSuite or other ERPs
Work experience with SAAS companies.
Understanding of technologies and software that interface with financial activity (CRM, Marketing automation, and more)
