Role Overview:
As a Senior Linux System Expert, Storage And Backup Expert, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring storage and Linux servers and services. Your expertise in Red Hat, EMC, and Commvault will ensure that our server environments conform to all company regulations and information security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Install, configure, and maintain Linux and storage servers and services.
2. Manage EMC storage in a highly crucial environment, employing proactive and reactive approaches.
3. Perform installations, security updates, upgrades, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting in VMware-based 24x7 data center environments.
4. Ensure ongoing operating and system compliance with security protocols and regulatory standards.
5. Provide support to application, security, and other teams within the organization.

Requirements:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Linux system administrator.
Knowledge of EMC storage solutions and integration with VMware (SAN/NAS) - Strong Advantage.
In-depth knowledge of backup tools such as Commvault.
5 years of experience as a VMware administrator.
Proficiency in scripting, automation, and tools (Python, Bash, PowerCLI).
Basic knowledge of the Windows Operating System [Windows Server 2012 R2 and 2016].
Fast learner with excellent troubleshooting skills.
Certifications in Linux and storage.
Desired Skills:
Experience as a storage administrator.
Knowledge of Cisco UCS.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios, VMware vROPS, Dynatrace, etc.
Understanding of network design and topology.
Additional Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Self-motivated, well-organized, with a positive attitude and commitment to project success.
