The Hybrid Cloud department is looking for an outstanding research intern with experience and interest in cloud computing and distributed systems. We have a number of openings in which you can be a part of a research team in the following areas:
Solving real-world problems in managing data for Generative AI
Building the next generation of high performance and programmable networks for the multi-cloud era
Global storage systems
Multi-cloud observability
Multi-cloud control and management plane
Our summer internship program offer you an opportunity to join our research team for 3 months internship (working 5 days a week) in either Haifa or
Tel Aviv sites (according to each internship).
During the internship, you will be working with our talented researcher on top projects, helping create the next generation of AI, security, quantum, cloud and much more.

Requirements:
MSC or PhD candidate from CS in advanced stages of studies, in distributed systems, data management, networking, computing architecture or related fields. Knowledge and preferably research experience in either: distributed computing, cloud environments, networking, optimization, operating systems, data stores.
Experience in programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Rust, Java, C++)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
Publication/s at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
Experience with software development in a Linux and/or Kubernetes environment. Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts (microservices, service discovery, distributed coordination, load balancers, block storage services etc.)
