Senior Backend Developer

The Create engineering group, based at Israeli R&D site, is looking for a senior backend engineer to join our editor team. We're working in a squad that includes backend and frontend engineers, product managers, designers, and analysts. Our mission is to unleash the full potential of video for businesses by enabling them to create and edit compelling videos effortlessly and at scale.
Job Description:
As a senior backend engineer, youll collaborate closely with our engineering teams and product managers to craft innovative solutions for complex challenges and maintain high-performance, scalable platforms.
As a valued team member, youll participate in architectural designs, implementing new features, refining existing code, optimizing performance, and elevating our systems to meet stringent monitoring standards.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Python developer with expert-level knowledge of backend development for high-traffic websites and applications, who thinks independently and has a great passion for the role.
Responsibilities:
Be involved in all stages of the development life cycle, from architecture design reviews to production.
Work autonomously and be comfortable executing features from start to finish as planned.
Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests to improve code quality.
Proactively seek opportunities to enhance system efficiency and functionality.
