Your Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Senior Security Researcher to join Cyclops Security and play a leading role in advancing our threat research and driving security innovation. This position is ideal for someone with a growth mindset, a solutions-focused approach, and a commitment to technical excellence. As a senior researcher, you’ll work alongside Product and R&D teams, reporting to the CTO, and transforming our expertise in security into valuable features for our customers.We're looking for a creative, analytical professional with a knack for understanding complex systems and a passion for uncovering the intricacies of how things work. Your Role

Detection Engineering: Design, develop, and implement advanced detection techniques to proactively identify and mitigate security threats, delivering real-time protection and insights for our customers.
Hypothesis-Driven Research on Threats and Attacks: Conduct in-depth research to test hypotheses on emerging threats and attack vectors, translating findings into actionable insights and protections that provide tangible value to Cyclops Security's customers.
Reshape and Enhance Data Models: Work closely with the team to refine and optimize our data model, ensuring it supports innovative security use cases and enhances the overall system’s accuracy and efficiency

Requirements:

What You'll Need

5+ years of experience in security research, threat research, cloud R&D, or offensive security
Data analysis and coding skills
Strong communication skills – written and verbal
Highly motivated, great self-learner, curious, responsible and independent

And Ideally

B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent professional background
Threat intelligence, red team, or incident response experience
Experience with data/security analysis
Detection engineering experience
