QA Automation Team Leader

Lead and mentor the QA Automation team, providing technical guidance, support, and training to enhance team capabilities and performance. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability across multiple platforms and environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure timely and effective testing of new features and enhancements. Define and implement automation frameworks, tools, and strategies to optimize test coverage and efficiency. Identify, prioritize, and execute test cases based on project requirements and risk assessments. Conduct code reviews, identify defects, and provide recommendations for improvements to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. Establish and maintain QA metrics and reports to track test results, defect rates, and overall quality trends. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in QA automation to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure alignment of testing activities with development cycles and release schedules. B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of experience in QA automation, with a proven track record of designing and implementing automated test scripts for complex software applications. 3+ years of experience as a Technical Lead or Team Leader of QA Automation team. Strong proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar. Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members. Hands-on experience with programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to details. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
