KayHut is achieving the unbelievable daily. We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our cyber defense group and take ownership of a cutting-edge data solution. In this role, you will join our teams of data engineers, developers, and researchers who design and develop innovative solutions for our customers' most critical needs.

Responsibilities

Leading the design, architecture, implementation, and support of large-scale data pipelines and processing flows.
Collaborating with researchers to analyze, model, and deeply understand diverse data sources.
Providing technical insights on database technology and data modeling best practices.
Ensuring data integrity and optimization, managing analysis flows with high responsibility and attention to detail.
Requirements
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 6 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Python.
Strong experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (including Elastic Search and Splunk).
Deep understanding of containerized environments and infrastructure (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes) and Linux environments.
Experience working with CI/CD methodologies (e.g., GitLab).
Proven experience in processing, manipulating, and optimizing large-scale data sets.

Advantages

Previous experience in the cybersecurity industry and/or service in elite IDF technology units.
Experience with Java and/or TypeScript.
Experience with NiFi, Airflow, Trino, AWS.
